About the Store

The Sock Hop was established in the fall of 2010 in New York City by the Nasserbakht brothers, Vincent and Theodore.  TSH is an ongoing project, curated so each patron can take our offerings in his/her own direction.  The timeless quality of craftsmanship over mass production is emphasized, from heel to toe.  Socks and Hard Goods are sourced from around the world from masters and experts.  Custom shirting for both men and women is cut and sewn in the store by the family, with shirting expertise going back over 100 years.  Most of our time in the shop is dedicated to hanging out and listening to vinyl.  Enjoy.
